Passion

I met with Steve this week to talk about RISE, and what could happen, or what is already happening in Antrim through it. He gave me Louie Giglio's passion talk 'Designer Jeans'. He talked about our jobs, what we do, our careers and the purpose behind them and how we can use our passion for God.

Then it made me think about me.

I believe that RISE is the beginning. The beginning of something big in Antrim. I believe that RISE will change the lives of people who live here.
I have a passion for RISE.
I have a passion to see people's lives change.
I have a passion for Antrim.
I have a passion for young people, and so I'm studying Community Youth Work at UUJ.
I have a passion.

How can these passions be used for God? Am I called to full-time ministry? I originally applied for a secular Youth Work course in order to achieve a secular Youth Work job. Though maybe that's not how God wants me to be.

Recently, I've been thinking and wondering whether God is speaking to me, and telling me to think about full-time ministry. Could Theology education be something for me in the future.

Maybe RISE could be where I use my passion. Maybe that's my full-time ministry. Maybe that's what I'll do for the rest of my life. Maybe not. But to think that the passion I have is actually being used right now, at 18? To think that at the age of 18 I am part of the main team of a potentially history changing project in Antrim?

It is unbelieveable. Seriously. Unbelievable.
